Loutsa Beach, also known as Artemida Beach, is a beautiful coastal destination located in the eastern suburbs of Athens, Greece. This stunning beach boasts crystal-clear waters, soft golden sands, and breathtaking views of the Aegean Sea. I had the pleasure of visiting Loutsa Beach and it was truly an unforgettable experience.
To get to Loutsa Beach, you can take a bus or drive. The journey takes approximately 20-30 minutes by car and 30-45 minutes by bus, depending on traffic. If you’re driving, you can take the Athens-Lamia National Road (E75) and then follow the signs to Loutsa Beach. There is ample parking available near the beach.
Upon arrival, I was struck by the natural beauty of the area. The beach is less crowded than some of the more popular beaches in Greece, which creates a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The water is exceptionally clear and calm, making it perfect for swimming, snorkeling, and other water activities. The beach is also equipped with amenities such as sun loungers, umbrellas, and showers.
One of the highlights of my visit to Loutsa Beach was the nearby restaurants and cafes. The area is home to several seafood restaurants and cafes, where you can enjoy delicious local cuisine and refreshing drinks while taking in the stunning views of the Aegean Sea.
