Kosher Place is a unique restaurant located in the heart of Athens, Greece. The restaurant serves authentic kosher cuisine and has become a popular spot for both locals and tourists. The atmosphere of the restaurant is inviting and cozy, and the staff is friendly and attentive. The menu features a variety of dishes that are prepared with the freshest ingredients and presented beautifully. In this review, I will describe and recommend some of the dishes that I tried during my recent visit to Kosher Place.
To start off our meal, my companions and I ordered the hummus and falafel plate and the stuffed vine leaves. The hummus was creamy and had a nice hint of garlic. The falafel was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and was served with a tahini sauce that complemented the flavors perfectly. The stuffed vine leaves were also delicious, filled with a mixture of rice, herbs, and spices, and topped with a dollop of yogurt sauce.
For our main course, we tried the lamb kebab and the grilled chicken breast. The lamb kebab was cooked to perfection, juicy and tender with a beautiful char on the outside. It was served with a side of grilled vegetables and a fresh salad. The grilled chicken breast was also cooked perfectly, juicy and flavorful. It was served with a side of roasted potatoes and a mixed green salad.
Another dish we tried was the beef stroganoff, which was a special of the day. The beef was cooked in a rich and creamy sauce with mushrooms and onions, and served over a bed of fluffy rice. The dish was hearty and comforting, and had a nice depth of flavor.
For dessert, we couldn’t resist trying the baklava and the chocolate mousse cake. The baklava was sweet and sticky, with layers of phyllo dough, nuts, and honey syrup. The chocolate mousse cake was rich and decadent, with a velvety texture and a perfect balance of sweetness and bitterness.
To accompany our meal, we ordered a bottle of red wine from the restaurant’s extensive wine list. The wine was a perfect match for the rich flavors of our main dishes, and we enjoyed sipping it throughout our meal. The restaurant also offers a variety of non-alcoholic drinks, including fresh juices and herbal teas.
Overall, I highly recommend Kosher Place to anyone looking for authentic kosher cuisine in Athens. The atmosphere of the restaurant is warm and inviting, and the staff is friendly and attentive. The dishes are prepared with the freshest ingredients and are presented beautifully. I especially recommend the hummus and falafel plate, the lamb kebab, and the chocolate mousse cake. Whether you are a local or a tourist, Kosher Place is definitely worth a visit.
