The hotel’s unique retro aesthetic and convenient location in the Omonia district set it apart from other more generic options.
We appreciated that the hotel was situated in a quieter area, allowing us to enjoy our time on the rooftop without being overwhelmed by noise from the bustling streets below. The main tourist attractions were just a 15-minute walk away, and the nearby metro terminal made transportation a breeze.
From the moment we walked into the hotel, we were welcomed by friendly staff and offered Prosecco upon arrival. The front desk staff were particularly helpful, and we appreciated their genuine interest in our comfort and satisfaction.
Our room was comfortable, spacious, and exceptionally clean, with a fun retro look. Coffee, water, and other amenities were readily available. We made use of the free hot tubs, gym, and sauna, which added extra value to our stay. Spending evenings in the hot tub while enjoying cocktails and chill-out music made our experience truly special.
Although we didn’t dine at the hotel’s restaurant, the food we saw looked and smelled delicious. The breakfast offered a wide variety of local dishes and beverages, catering to all tastes.
The hotel’s location, opposite the Omonia subway station, made it very easy to access from the airport. The staff offered valuable advice on tickets and directions. Our fifth-floor room with a balcony provided a great vantage point to watch the busy streets below. The comfortable queen-sized bed, bathroom with quality products, and Nespresso machine were all appreciated touches.
Veronica at the reception was exceptionally courteous and helpful, providing us with extensive information about local attractions, tour services, and dining recommendations. She graciously arranged airport transfers and a late check-out upon request.
We cannot thank the staff and owners of Brown Acropol enough for providing us with a fantastic stay in Athens. We would happily return to this unique and enjoyable hotel for our next visit to the city.
