A fantastic four-star hotel located in Karaiskaki Square near the center of Athens. The hotel’s prime location, just a few steps away from the Metaxourgeio Metro station, made traveling around the city incredibly easy and convenient. In addition, its proximity to a taxi stand and tour bus stops added to its accessibility.
The hotel itself was impeccably clean and recently renovated. Our check-in and check-out process was quick and hassle-free. We were impressed by the spacious and comfortable rooms, which were equipped with a kettle for coffee and tea, a safe, a fridge, and a large bathroom with a hairdryer and excellent water pressure. The hotel also offered a generous, delicious, and diverse breakfast spread.
The staff at The Stanley Hotel were truly exceptional—helpful, polite, and always smiling. They kindly accommodated our early check-in and late check-out requests due to our travel schedule. The hotel’s amenities were impressive, including a restaurant on the top floor offering a beautiful view of Athens and a wide selection of food and drinks.
We particularly enjoyed our time at the rooftop pool, which provided a relaxing adult atmosphere. The pool area was well-maintained, and we appreciated the availability of towels and the option to order food and drinks right to our sunbeds. The poolside service was outstanding, with special mention to Theo, who was friendly and offered excellent tips about Greece.
The surrounding area of the hotel may not be as modern or clean as the city center, but this did not detract from our overall experience. We felt safe walking to the center during the day and took taxis in the evening, which were reasonably priced and easily arranged by the hotel staff.
In summary, our stay at The Stanley Athens Hotel was truly memorable. The hotel’s convenient location, excellent facilities, and top-notch service made it the perfect base for exploring the city.
