Flamenco, an art form originating in 1700s Andalusia, is a symbol of Spanish identity and is recognised by UNESCO as one of humanity’s most masterful artistic expressions. The Hola Flamenco Festival has been representing the fiery flamenco culture in Athens since 2017. In this year’s edition, we’ll have the opportunity to immerse ourselves in the rich flamenco culture for two days in the company of international music and dance acts. On Sunday, the stage will come alive with the performance of Agia Fanfara, a Balkan band that intertwines flamenco elements with balkan music in a promising fusion of musical traditions. On Monday, Grammy nominee Rosario la Tremendita, a highly acclaimed flamenco singer and composer, will give a powerful performance with her band. Vamos!
