After a very successful run last year, The Dog, The Night and the Knife returns to Pireos 260. The comical, nightmarish story goes as follows: The only thing protagonist “M” remembers is eating mussels. In a constant state of fear, he is stabbed, stabs others, comes across people who want to devour him, and experiences time standing still. It is only at the play’s finale that he stops feeling afraid. A parable about our ludicrous existence written by Marius von Mayenburg, the provocative Schaubühne dramatist, and directed by Giorgos Koutlis, head of the Experimental Stage of the National Theatre of Greece.
