The STOA GRILLA KAI BARRA is a MULTICHOROS of 1897 where you can start in the morning with CAFFE, continue at noon with PINSA, PINSA Sandwich or OIZAKI with a snack, wander around the area with the painting exhibitions and enjoy ORGANIC meat with your drink the bradaiki.
In the current seasons we decided to provide you with the crispy PINSA PIZZA with Delivery and Takeat with WOLT & EFOOD. Our 1897’s Multi-Place stays alive!
So we expect you to love this wonderful MULTIPLACE as we have loved it for 25 years since the renovation of STOA KOUVELOU.
STOA KOUVELOU was created in 1897 by ACHILLEA KOUVELO. It was originally used as a Hani. On the ground floor there was the galley-cave and in the lodge they secured the sub-guards and their handcuffs. On the upper floor there were lodgings. After 1900 other lodges were added and it became an important COMMERCIAL CENTER of the time in which they coexisted:
A DISTILLERY, A DISTILLERY OF SPIRITS, A PRINT SHOP, A TAILOR’S SHOP, A CLOTHING STORE, A WHITE GOODS STORE, A CUSTOMS HOUSE, A HYPOCAMPUS WORKSHOP, A STORE OF DETERGENTS, AN ELECTRICAL GOODS STORE, A CONVENIENCE STORE, A MILLINERY, A GENERAL STORE, AN EMBROIDERY SHOP AND A CAFÉ.
