Votsalakia Beach is a hidden gem located in the south-western part of Attica, Greece. This stunning beach boasts crystal-clear waters, soft golden sands, and breathtaking views of the Saronic Gulf. I had the pleasure of visiting Votsalakia Beach and it was truly an unforgettable experience.
To get to Votsalakia Beach, you can take a bus or drive from Athens. The journey takes approximately 45 minutes to an hour, depending on traffic. If you’re driving, you can take the Athens-Lamia National Road (E75) and then follow the signs to Votsalakia Beach. There is also ample parking available near the beach.
Upon arrival, I was struck by the natural beauty of the area. The beach is less crowded than some of the more popular beaches in Greece, which creates a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The water is exceptionally clear and calm, making it perfect for swimming, snorkeling, and other water activities.
