Kokkino Limanaki is a beautiful and secluded beach located in the Attica region of Greece. This hidden gem boasts crystal-clear waters, soft golden sands, and breathtaking views of the Aegean Sea. I had the pleasure of visiting Kokkino Limanaki and it was truly an unforgettable experience.
To get to Kokkino Limanaki, you can take a bus or drive. The journey takes approximately 45 minutes to an hour by car and 1-1.5 hours by bus, depending on traffic. If you’re driving, you can take the Athens-Lamia National Road (E75) and then follow the signs to Kokkino Limanaki. There is limited parking available near the beach, so it’s best to arrive early.
Upon arrival, I was struck by the natural beauty of the area. Kokkino Limanaki is a relatively secluded beach, which creates a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The water is exceptionally clear and calm, making it perfect for swimming, snorkeling, and other water activities. The beach is also equipped with amenities such as sun loungers, umbrellas, and showers.
One of the highlights of my visit to Kokkino Limanaki was the nearby hiking trails. The area is home to several scenic hiking trails, which provide stunning views of the Aegean Sea and the surrounding landscape.
