Will it be a pinot noir, prosecco, moscato, sauvignon or perhaps a chardonnay to complement that 5,000 year old Cycladic exhibit? You read that right. It’s food & wine pairing in Athens’ museums, as part of Athens City Festival. The restaurants of the Acropolis Museum (12/05), The B&E Goulandris Foundation (26/05), The Byzantine and Christian Museum (27/05) and Varvakios Market (29/05) will adjust their menus for the occasion. For every session, five Greek wine etiquettes will be combined with five dishes made from the finest Greek ingredients by internationally accomplished chefs.
